Last post on Christmas, I promise! I wanted to share a few of my favorite gifts this year, reminding myself that often it’s the little things that seem to make the greatest impact.
KC found this beautiful piece in Green Hills made by Red Earth. Just like her, simple, thoughtful, with purpose.
Zach, for some reason thinks I am hip enough to wear these. Love him, he always sees the best in people. When you see me wearing these, be kind.
Ben read this in his Dystopian literature class and we had good long discussions about it. Much depth in this young man. He wanted me to read it too. Happy heart.
To be clear, I married well above my head. Kevin has pulled together a plethora of date nights for us this upcoming year. Thoughtful and so good to me.
My sweet Mom in law remembered me mentioning my love for original art. She found this “piece” Kevin did in Junior High and had it matted and framed. Incredible.
People are so creative. My dear thoughtful sister friend Lisa found this beauty in Cincinnati, up-cycling old hymnals into journals. LOVE this.
I am so thankful and overwhelmed by God’s goodness through people. I see Him reflected best in relationship and the last several days I have found such deep joy as we share and reflect on the value of being connected and invested in one another. Hoping your holiday was much the same. xo
