As #projectpowderroom gets underway, I am reminded of the immense value of great lighting. When we decided to move to Nashville, top of the design to do list was to find one of a kind lighting that would define each space. Many designers start from the floor and work their way up. Not one to follow many rules, I decided to start at the end…shocking.

Following are some of the pieces I found:

Sciolari sconces, thank you Ebay.

Love the detail and unfinished feel of this piece. Perfectly imperfect.

I stare at this often.

Etsy rules. Took me awhile to assemble. Worth it.

Brass and white and medallions oh my.

Not the real deal, but plenty real enough for me.

Again, perfectly imperfect. Broken shells, missing strand here and there. No bother.

Fancy fancy. Great vintage find from long ago.

  1. Love the piece I bought from your shop in Hudson, Ohio. Thanks for all the great advice and I will be looking for just the right light for my dining room. Your lighting looks even better in person.
