We have been blessed.

Perhaps one of the most over used watered down phrases of all time, used by well meaning well intentioned people. No judgement at all, as I too use this phrase with great frequency.

To be clear, I want to use the following definition of BLESSED when I use this phrase:

“Made holy; consecrated” from the English Oxford Living Dictionary.

In sum, being blessed means being set apart for a purpose. From my perspective it is God who sets us apart for His purposes. SO thinking about being blessed, for me, carries with it an expectation. A weight and burden – in the best of ways -intentionality in all things all time all doing all speaking

All. Everything.

I have spent a WHOLE LOTTA TIME – maybe too much, in all candor – thinking and praying over this. Dipping my toe in a variety of well intentioned intentions to serve and love and BLESS others. My picture is finally becoming quite clear.

Crystal. Clear.

Ever so slowly and with great intention, I want to share with you what that looks like for me over the next several days and weeks to come.

My intention?

To encourage YOU.

To share with you my heart and the process of living out the blessing of


Set apartness-


This is not singular. We are all blessed.

Every one of us.

What follows is simply this question:

How do we steward blessing?

No one can answer that question for you other than

My friends whom I cannot see, do not know personally, but believe are connected in the best of ways…I would be honored –


to have you along for that which I feel has been in the works for quite some time…

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw everything off that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
